This presentation traces the advances in computer science that carried us from
traditional software to large language models.

It examines the problems that arrived with them — hallucination, copyright, privacy —
and how human-in-the-loop patterns make cautious use possible. Looking forward, it
shows how language models can power workflows that don't just run existing processes
faster but remove the bottlenecks entirely.
