Trece paredes van a tener murales.

English translation

Un Minuto Austin. Today's news, in clear Spanish. This program is narrated by an artificial voice.

It's Thursday, October twenty-second.

Before anything else, a difficult story. A federal grand jury accused Wilber Garces Perez of assault. An ICE agent shot him last month in North Austin. KUT obtained the audio of the traffic stop and of the chase.

Thank goodness: the voters delivered a good surprise. The first day of early voting broke a record. Almost 41,000 people voted on Monday. According to KUT, no midterm of this century had a first day like it.

And to top it off, art where you least expect it. In Dove Springs, a 50-year-old car wash becomes a gallery. Thirteen walls are going to have murals. The festival opens on Saturday and runs until November 22.

That's all. We'll hear each other tomorrow. See you later!
